Operations is where everything comes together at Ewals Cargo Care: the movement of goods, direct contact with our customers, managing and coordinating our fleet, and solving unexpected challenges as they arise.
It’s the core of our business. Here, we organise transport, resolve issues, and ensure we deliver on our promises. With over 1,800 colleagues and more than 5,000 trailers, we operate across Europe. We act swiftly, maintain oversight, and produce according to plan.

What is the essence of logistics? It’s about moving goods from point A to B to C. However, in reality, it’s rarely that straightforward. At Ewals Cargo Care, we oversee the entire multimodal process — including road, rail, and ferry transportation. When logistics become intricate, that’s where we shine.
Our strength is in seamlessly integrating different modes of transport: trailers that start on the road, switch to rail, and finish by ferry. Achieving this demands impeccable coordination, real-time tracking, and great flexibility – all of which we deliver. Weekly, we move over 5,000 trailers across Europe, supported by approximately 1,800 Operations staff. From strategically placed hubs, we respond swiftly, anticipate issues, and keep a constant watch on the flow of goods. Whatever challenges arise, we uphold our commitments to customers.
Customer Service
In logistics, precision and planning are crucial — but it’s our Customer Service teams who make every transport feel personal. They serve as the direct link between our clients and operations, translating complex logistics into clear communication and proactive support. Whether it’s coordinating updates, resolving issues, or aligning expectations, Customer Service collaborates closely with Planners and Freight Forwarders to keep everything running smoothly.
The role demands agility, empathy, and a thorough understanding of the entire transportation chain — from booking to final delivery. With multiple offices often involved in a single shipment, teamwork is essential. Customer Service fosters trust with both customers and internal teams, knowing that every detail impacts the entire operation.
